Living in such a cosmopolitan area is fantastic when it comes to choosing a restaurant. But with so many fabulous restaurants to choose from, it can be hard to decide where to eat.
So, we thought we would give you a helping hand with our choices of some of the best Indian and Chinese restaurants in the Quesada and Benijofar area. After all, who doesn't like a good Indian or Chinese.
First up Chinese
Frankey’s pick for best Chinese restaurant
I am choosing Maritaos Kitchen at La Marquesa Golf. It is a definite Frain family favourite, and you will often find us feasting in the restaurant or grabbing a takeout.
The flavours are just the best and all the staff are so friendly. You really can’t beat the crispy mango chicken with house noodles and dumplings.
Callum’s pick for best Chinese restaurant
Yoku in Ciudad Quesada high street is my choice. It’s partly convenience that makes me choose Yoku as it is near to where we live so we can just stroll there whenever we want. But they also do a great beef in black bean sauce.
Lyndsey’s pick for best Chinese restaurant
I am going to have to agree with Callum and pick Yoku in Quesada high street as the best Chinese restaurant. The food is really tasty, and it is great value for money. The restaurant has recently been refurbished and looks amazing, too. I would recommend the vegetable spring rolls and vegetable curry.
Lisa's pick for best Chinese restaurant
I love both Maritaos Kitchen and Yoku in Quesada, but I am going to break the rules here and pick a restaurant a bit further away - Gong in Playa Flamenca is the best Chinese restaurant for me. Gong offers a mixture of Chinese and Thai food and in my opinion cannot be beaten for flavour or service. It is very popular though, so make sure you book.
Now for the best Indian Restaurants in Quesada and Benijofar area
Lyndsey’s pick for best Indian restaurant
You can’t beat Bay Leaf in Benimar. The menu is excellent value for money and the flavours perfect. They always listen if you want it hotter or less spicy. The best thing for me is they do fantastic vegetable options, so it is a great Indian restaurant for vegetarians and vegans. I love the vegetable Jalfrezi.

My favourite Indian is Mulberry’s in Quesada, and not just because it is practically next door to our office. When it comes to flavour the dishes really pack a punch and it is very reasonably priced.
Frankey’s pick for best Indian restaurant
It has to be the Punjabi Palace in La Marquesa. It is the best Indian in Quesada as the food is so lovely and fresh. I love the chicken korma with coconut rice and garlic bread.
Callum’s pick for best Indian restaurant
I am also going to pick the Punjabi Palace in La Marquesa. You can’t beat it for flavours. I would recommend the chicken tikka.
