Your Guide to the 2025 Rojales Fiestas

Summer in Rojales comes alive with tradition, music, dance and the unmistakable sound of fireworks. The 2025 Rojales Fiestas are set to bring colour, culture and celebration to the town throughout June and early July. From joyful parades and processions to thrilling Moors and Christians events, here are the highlights with everything you need to know to enjoy the festivities to the full.

Sunday 15th June – Fiestas Begin!

???? 12.30pm – El Chupinazo (Plaza de España)
The fiestas officially begin with the traditional ‘chupinazo’. A rocket will be launched from the Plaza de España to mark the start of the celebrations. Be ready for flying foam and fun — don’t forget your swimsuit!

???? 2.15pm – Grand Mascletà (Malecón del Soto Promenade)
Head down to the Malecón del Soto for a spectacular (and noisy) firework display by Pirotecnia Ferrández from Redován. This traditional daytime firework show fills the air with sound and excitement.

Thursday 19th June – Dance Festival

???? 8.00pm – End of Year Dance Show (Malecón del Soto)
Enjoy a lively evening of salsa, hip hop and modern dance performed by the talented students of the Rojales Municipal School of Dance, directed by Begoña López and María José Muñoz.

Friday 20th June – Fire & Festivities

???? 8.00pm – Correfoc (Starts at Plaza de la Iglesia)
Join the thrilling Fire Run as devils, drums and pyrotechnics fill the streets, ending at the symbolic Hoguera 2025 bonfire. Be ready for sparks, fire and fun — a true Valencian tradition.

???? 11.00pm – Pre-Burning Ceremony (Hoguera 2025)
An atmospheric ceremony takes place before the bonfire is lit the following day. It’s the perfect time to take in the mood of anticipation.

Saturday 21st June – Live Music

???? 11.30am – Open-Air Music with Señor Aliaga (Malecón del Soto)
Enjoy a lively morning with popular dance music from Señor Aliaga. Bring friends, grab a drink and enjoy the atmosphere.

Sunday 22nd June – Corpus Christi

???? 8.00pm – Corpus Christi Procession
A traditional religious procession through the streets of Rojales, rich in symbolism and community spirit.

Saturday 28th June – Flower Offerings

???? 8.00pm – Floral Offering in Honour of San Pedro
A beautiful tradition where residents bring flowers to honour the town’s patron saint, San Pedro. The procession departs from the Rojales Health Centre.

Sunday 29th June – San Pedro Festivities

???? 9.00am – Band of La Lira Parades the Streets
The morning begins with the lively sounds of the La Lira Band parading through town.

???? 11.00am – Water Gymkhana & Bouncy Castle (Malecón del Soto)
Perfect for families! Don’t forget swimwear — kids can cool off with games and fun inflatables.

✝️ 8.00pm – Holy Mass in Honour of San Pedro
Held in honour of the patron saint and attended by local authorities and representatives of the festival.

????️ 9.00pm – Solemn Procession & Fireworks
A moving and respectful procession through the town followed by a grand firework display, once again by the masters at Pirotecnia Ferrández.

Wednesday 2nd July – Quiet Time at the Fair

???? Fairground Sensory-Friendly Day
Discounted ride prices and a more relaxed atmosphere. Music will be turned off at times to support those who experience sensory overload.

Moors and Christians Festival – 3rd to 6th July

An unmissable part of the Rojales Fiestas, the Moors and Christians Festival brings history, theatre and vibrant costumes to life. Rooted in tradition, it commemorates the battles between Moors and Christians with dramatic reenactments, music and parades.

Thursday 3rd July

???? 8.00pm – Marksmen Fire Shots (Town Hall)
The streets echo with the sound of ceremonial gunfire.

⚔️ 9.00pm – Gunpowder Battle & Castle Siege (Malecón del Soto)
Don’t miss this dramatic show filled with noise, smoke and theatrical flair as Moors and Christians battle for the castle.

Friday 4th July

???? Charanga Summer Carnival Parade
A colourful evening parade with all the Moors and Christians groups taking part in a joyful display through the town.

Saturday 5th July

???? 8.00pm – Parade of the Bands
Start the evening with the festive sounds of marching bands.

???? 9.00pm – Grand Parade of Moors and Christians
The main parade fills the streets with pageantry, stunning costumes and choreographed performances. Viewing seats are available for just €3.

Sunday 6th July

???? 10.00am – Arts & Crafts at the Rodeo Caves
Explore local creativity with exhibitions, workshops and concerts in this unique setting.

???? 9.00pm – Final Grand Parade of Moors and Christians
The festivities conclude with a spectacular second grand parade, a fitting end to weeks of celebration.
